It's finally summer time! Now that school is off of our shoulders, it's time to see if we can get some videos finished! We have many videos on our queue, so hopefully we can pump those out soon!

Our first video on our queue is a special video. This year, our family hosted a foreign exchange student. Now that the year is over, it's time to see him go. In honor of him, we have made this special video. Take a look.

We've been really busy lately with lots of things going on, so please be patient. We have many videos planned, we just need the time to get them going. Hopefully summer will prove to be a great time to get some stuff done.

Well, I think all the kinks to the new Video and Special Video pages have all been worked out.

  • Links in the descriptions have been updated.
  • Sidebar pictures added/formatted for consistency.
  • Redirects have been added for the old links so the archives will still work.

The only other change I will need to make concerns the navigation buttons. That change should be made soon.

Expect new and exciting updates soon!

The Video Page and the Special Video Page have been updated! They are now PHP-based, so will update automatically. The pictures on the sidebar will also display random pictures from the corresponding video, so you don't see the same old picture over and over.

Expect some of the sidebar pictures for the video pages to be updated soon. Especially the earlier videos.

The Blog Page has been changed so I don't have to update it anymore! Now it'll automatically update itself. As more blogs are added to the blog database, the page will change accordingly. This will help save me some work!

The Archives have also been dramatically changed! Now you'll be taken to a page where you can select a month and year to view, or even select a range of months to view from the archives. Because of this new PHP feature, the home page will now be automatically updated just like the blog page! The home page will still look the same, but it'll save me a lot of work!

Expect some similar updates in the near future. I'm planning to add almost everything to a database to allow an advanced search of the entire site! This should help you to find things you may want to look for.

The Archives have been updated.

So, after several tests today, I found that the Jar of Justice was not working properly. That is, it was only revealing a little over half of its answers. This problem has been fixed, so check out the new and improved Jar of Justice!

Note: The Jar of Justice can be a little... sassy sometimes, so don't take some of its answers too seriously. ;)

I have made an important update today. I went through and reorganized site. That is, I reorganized the files and folders. No visual difference will be seen by this update besides some URLs. If you have such pages as the blog or video page bookmarked or favorited, you may experience a slight problem. Some affected pages include:

  • Video Page
  • Blog Page
  • Comics
  • Journals
  • Information
  • Downloads
  • Archives
  • Store

The links have changed accordingly though, so you should have no problem navigating around the site.

Finally, a new video! That's right, I've been hard at work, but it's finally complete! Enjoy this brand new video!
Note: This video will make more sense if you have read The Scarlet Letter. I would recommend Spark Noting the book if you haven't read the book before.

A little note before you watch: The video has one slight problem at the beginning, but will be fixed soon. Also, the YouTube version will be up later tonight.

Uh... hey guys, long time no see. It sure has been a while! It may seem Official Orange has crashed into the ground and exploded, but I assure you we haven't exploded. Just crashed. No worries though, we're working on building ourselves back up. That's right, we're getting ourselves off the ground. In order to stay in flight this time, we have many improvements coming. And not just content improvement, but I mean we are planning on restructuring ourselves completely. It may take a while to get ourselves going again, but I assure you when we get ourselves back up again, it should be a blast! I look forward to writing more soon! Sincerely, Jeff Hinshaw.

The archives have finally been updated.

This brand new video will be the last one uploaded in SD... if everything cooperates that is. And for the record, Iowa is the best state. I would know, I have spent most of my life there.

Official Orange is holding an open casting call for all girls interested in a role in the upcoming Official Orange viral video, entitled Tthhee Ppaarrtty. More info can be found in the video below:

  • Full Name
  • Age
  • Grade
  • School
  • A short paragraph explaining why you want to be in the video, and which part you're interested in. If it's all 3, just say any of the 3 (the 3 being: 1. the girl who throws punch in Elijah's face, 2. Jeff's wife, 3. Alec's girlfriend).
