Wii Tennis: Elijah's Recollection
The other night, I had Jeff spend the night. We were bored, and the Wii was glowing, so we popped in Wii Sports and decided we'd play a few rounds of something. Bowling didn't go well, but boy tennis sure did. Jeff played as Jesus, and I as Lincoln. We hit "Best Out Of 5 Games" and then it was on. I served first. I also won first. Jeff was already slacking and we only played one game. Then it was Jeff's serve. Of course, he won. If you serve, you win. That's my philosophy. We played the next round, me serving again. My first serve, was a power serve and boy was Jeff pissed. It's pretty hard to return those. Then, I pulled, what we in the business call a d*ck move. While Jeff was distracted by Drew, I served. Boy was he pissed. Now, I admit it wasn't fair, and after he hit me, we resumed playing. I won that round. Next round, Jeff decided to return the favor, and served while I wasn't looking. But, that wasn't the end for me. This game went on forever. Basically it went Elijah 15, Jeff 15, Elijah 30, Jeff 30, Jeff 45, Elijah 45, Deuce, Elijah Advantage, Deuce, Jeff Advantage, Deuce, Elijah Advantage, etc. This went on for quite a while, believe it or not. I was getting tired and I eventually lost that round. But, I pwned in the last round and beat Jeff, 3-2. Then, addicted by this point, Jeff played several more rounds against Drew and Micah. He even played himself several times. Then, he got tired and his arm hurt. Then, he went to bed.

Wii Tennis rocks! Possibly the most fun thing to play on the Wii (for me)! You know what makes it so fun? Well, a couple days ago, Elijah and I played some extreme Wii tennis. Now, I know there's those lazy people who simply just sit on their couch and clumsily flick their wrists to hit the tennis ball back and forth, but first of all, how is that even fun? And secondly, that's not how you're supposed to play! Get off your lazy *** and play right! So anyway, Elijah and I were playing some extreme Wii tennis giving this tennis ball everything we had! Maybe some occasional yells and moans as we hit the ball. Anyway, I played so hard I sweated more than I did at Marching Band Camp! It was intense! Especially when Elijah and I got to this one part where we kept getting deuces! Then he would advance, but then I would score and we would go straight back to deuce. Then I would advance, but then he would score and it would go back to deuce. This kept happening over and over until eventually, one of us finally won the game! (I really don't remember who won that game, but I'm guessing it was me just because I said so and I'm awesome.) You know, that game can be brutal though. One time, I was playing against Drew, and he hit this insane shot, so I went for it and scraped my knuckles against Elijah's ceiling! That's when you know that you're too tall. Either that, or your house sucks. It hurt so much! But I had to keep going because this was Wii tennis! There was also a time when I flung my arm forward too quickly and it hurt for about 20 minutes. Oh man, Wii tennis is strenuous! If you don't believe me, go play Wii tennis right now! Well, I got to go. I'm heading off to play Wii tennis! Chao!
