Topping It Off

I was outside one day playing with my throwing top. It was too much. The tip was worn down and it wouldn't spin! Suddenly I heard a screeching noise! The noise... of a locust I was stunned to see it being chased by a blue jay! I was afraid the poor creature wouldn't make it! I watched in terror as it fled in fear... It swooped up, down all around but it couldn't shake off the blue jay! Finally the blue jay gave in and flew away. I still was unsure what to do about my top! I was thinking about what could repair it when I realized something! I had an extra tip in my room! Hurray, I thought. But then my cheer was broken. I heard the locust again! I saw the blue jay chasing once more and then... The locust couldn't take it anymore it was slowing. The blue jay took its chance and swooped inward! The locust was eaten. I almost couldn't bear it then I remembered I wasn't outside to watch wildlife! I was outside to play with my top now broken! I ran inside, grabbed the extra tip of my desk, fixed my top and went on playing with it. But once more I was interrupted by wildlife! I saw bluecat being chased by a pterodactyl into a tree! I yelled at the pterodactyl to stop, but it wasn't enough! Suddenly bluecat jumped from the tree and ran away! Then, I saw it was no pterodactyl! It was just me chasing him! Finally I went inside deciding I had enough for one day.
