Text messages are great. UNLESS, some noob texts you in the middle of the night. Yesterday, I did not sleep well (Refer to Old Stereo Equipment blog). But the old stereo equipment was not the only contributor to my sleepless night. Yesterday afternoon, one of my friends texted me around 3PM. Hours passed and nothing arrived. When I went to bed, I decided that something must've just got tied up at the post office. Boy was I wrong. When I plugged in my phone to charge it, it automatically set my phone to a loud ringer. And, around 1:30AM, the text arrived. "TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK BOOM!" That's the sound that notifies me of a text, and I got to hear it at 1:30AM. Sure, I was glad the text had finally arrived, but the timing was quite bad. It's also bad to get a text while you're driving with your driver's ed teacher. I did. It vibrated, and he didn't hear it, but a little later, it gave me an unreasonably long reminder that I had gotten a text, and he did hear that. He was pissed. So, I failed driver's ed. But not really, though. And don't get me started on chain letters in text form.
