Kites

Kites fit in with my band-aids story. Well, the other day (Thursday during Spring Break), we went to fly kites out at the zoo. I mean lake. I could've just clicked backspace to erase zoo and write lake instead, but that would've been too much work. I'm lazy, remember? So, anyways. It was windier then crap that day, so, the kite had no problem taking off. It decided to be obnoxious and keep crashing, but still... Anyways, when I was flying it, I almost lost grip of it (which would've been disastrous, it's an expensive kite), and when I grabbed it, the string went between two of my fingers. Then, the wind pulled the string out faster than crap, which hurt. It basically melted the skin off one of my fingers, and it's yet to show any signs of healing. It probably got infected with athlete's foot or something... So, anyways, I put a band-aid over the cut and it's not helping. So, while we were flying kites (my mom, Eliam, and I,) Eliam accidentally let go of his string, and didn't yell for help, so I couldn't catch up. Luckily, the string got caught in a tree. Then, it flew itself for 30 minutes. The only thing we could do was wait and watch, until it fell and we could cut the string. Then it fell down and we cut the string.
