ActiveX

A lot of websites use something built into your internet browser called ActiveX. This ActiveX thing helps do a lot a things on websites, so you'd think it would be really hard to delete, right? Well, you would be wrong. I was cleaning all the old junk off my computer (KidPix, Disney Magic Paintshop, Crayola Paintshop, Wet n' Wild Spring Break '89, you get the idea...) I cleaned off about 10 gigabytes of old stuff, and then de-fragmented my hard drive. Then I went to get on my clan pages, and the fancy buttons wouldn't work. A lot of things wouldn't work. E-mail wouldn't work, Google wouldn't work... Even my favorite "Osama supporter" page wouldn't loa... I mean... Nuffing. As you can imagine, I was pissed. Things that used to be links are now things that just change the shape of your mouse from an arrow to someone giving you the finger. So I click on it, AND NOTHING HAPPENS. So I did some research and found out I had somehow accidentally deleted ActiveX from my computer. Then comes the stupidest part: All the websites that let you download ActiveX REQUIRED ActiveX to download ActiveX. Doesn't that just make you feel good? Next time I make a file available for download, I'm gonna pull a **** move and require the file to download the file. Oh, wanna download the newest episode of Spongebob? Too bad, you have to have the newest episode of Spongebob to download the newest episode of Spongebob. Irony sucks. And even though 've completely messed up this computer, my parents still won't get a new one. ActiveX makes anger come upon me.
